Prepare your taste buds! Tender, juicy steak on crusty garlic bread, with aged provolone cheese, rich caramelized onions, and a drizzle of parsley oil.
Japanese Steak Sandwich with Hibachi Steak Sauce – It’s a bit of Japanese steakhouse meets a Philly cheese steak. And yes, it’s as awesome as it sounds! This is like shovel into your mouth, don’t care who see’s you dripping steak juice all over, kind of awesome!
Do you ever get a craving for something completely non-specific? I know it sounds strange. Generally if you have a craving you’ve zeroed in on that craving like a heat-seeking missile. I’m craving pizza. I’m craving ice cream. Those are specific and singular, so pretty easy to satisfy. My craving was more like, I’m craving […]
Hiya! I’ve got a really incredible dish to share with you today. I made this on my camping trip last week, and I have made it 4 times at home since I’ve been back. I know tofu scramble doesn’t sound like anything sexy, but this Spiced Tofu Scramble has got some serious legs to it! I’m not talking it’s just good for tofu… I’m talking it’s straight up good. Happy Friday! I recently returned from a camping trip in Oregon and I have a fantastic Camping Mac n’ Cheese recipe for you that’s SUPER quick, SO easy, and only uses ONE POT! You can have an incredible dinner made in the great outdoors in under 10 minutes!
The Philadelphia Cheesesteak. There are those that revere and defend it with such devotion that I’m a bit hesitant, and quite frankly a little concerned for my safety to say… I’m not a fan. The beef is tasteless, the bread is dry, and the cheese… is often some conglomerate of processed matter. Now in the defense of the Cheesesteak, I have never actually had one from Philly. Perhaps it’s just one of those things like southern BBQ, unless it’s made by a local, it just doesn’t taste right.
It’s no secret that I love the Super Bowl. But it’s not for the reasons that you may think. I know practically nothing about the game, I don’t know any of the terminology, and quite frankly… I get kinda bored. In fact, I wouldn’t even know who was facing off if it weren’t for ‘deflate gate,’ where there’s some scandal over the size of the Patriot’s balls… or something like that. (Feel free to interpret that statement however you like). No, I don’t go to Super Bowl parties for the game. I go for the food! And when I go, I bring my ‘A’ game. My proving ground is not on the field, but on the beer stained buffet table in the kitchen.
Homemade chicken stock is often the secret ingredient to awesome food, and it can make or break your dish. So what is stock? And what’s the difference between stock and broth?
