Asian Red Pepper Dipping Sauce

Ingredients
  • ¼ cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 Tbs rice wine vinegar
  • 1½ Tbs sesame oil
  • 1½ Tbs sugar
  • 3 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp crushed pepper flakes (or to heat preference)
  • 1½ Tbs garlic, minced
  • 1 Tb ginger, minced
Instructions
  1. Combine the liquids and sugar in a heavy saucepan and heat over medium-high heat until the sugar dissolves (do not let it boil).
  2. Stir in the crushed pepper flakes and remove from heat. Let the contents rest for 10 minutes, then add the remaining ingredients.
  3. Refrigerate in a covered container. Sauce will keep for approximately 1 week
